Sandbox Beach Volleyball Camp

We’re excited to bring back the Sandbox camps — and this time in a seriously special location: Ericeira, Portugal.
This is more than a beach volleyball camp. It’s a few days away with good people, strong coaches, real training, ocean air, and the kind of energy you don’t get in your daily routine.
We’ll train hard, compete, recover, explore, and enjoy the place together.

What We
Offer

Beach volley trainings
Five structured training sessions focused on technique, decision-making, and real game situations. Small groups. Direct feedback. Serious but fun work. Promise!

Yoga Sessions
Two sessions to move, stretch, and reset the body. Nothing dramatic — just what you need between days on the sand.

Transfers & rides
We pick you up from Lisbon airport, take you back at the end, and handle the short rides to the beach. You don’t need to figure things out.

Time to explore
One afternoon we leave the court and head out together — maybe a coastal hike, maybe wine tasting, maybe something else nearby. We’ll decide as a group. Either way, it’ll be worth it.

Final tournament
At the end of the week, we play. Proper games, good matchups, and a solid finish to everything we worked on. This one will be combined with a local club — it’s on. Let’s show what we’ve got.

The group
Sandbox people. Good level. Good energy. Shared dinner one night. The kind of week where by day two everyone already knows each other.

Alona, Ben and Tomer are leading the week, plus a guest coach joining us. You know how we work — hands-on, present, involved. We’re there with you on the court!
About Ericeira
Ericeira is a coastal town on Portugal’s Atlantic coast that has grown from a traditional fishing village into one of Europe’s most vibrant spots for surf, lifestyle, and good vibes.
It’s officially one of the only World Surfing Reserves in Europe, with a coastline packed with world-class waves for every level — from mellow beach breaks to reef points that draw surfers from around the globe.
But Ericeira isn’t just about waves. The town itself has a relaxed, easygoing energy — narrow cobblestone streets filled with cafés, bakeries, and fresh seafood spots, plus plenty of places to grab coffee, brunch, or a drink after a day on the sand.
The Accommodation
The Hotel – Praia FLH Hotels, Ericeira
We’re suggesting The Hotel – Praia FLH Hotels, Ericeira, as one of the main spots for camp stays.
The location is hard to beat — cafés, restaurants, bars, and ocean viewpoints are all within walking distance. No taxis, no planning. You step outside and you’re in it.
Inside, the hotel is modern and comfortable, with clean rooms, proper beds, and breakfast included every morning.
There are shared spaces where you can sit with a coffee, get some work done if needed,
or just hang out between sessions.

If you have friends who are not joining the beach volleyball package but are interested in surfing or simply
